This used to be a giant pocket about the fireplace for an old tube TV. We mounted the TV and placed all the equipment creating the look of a custom recessed shelf that houses all the equipment

During the construction of this home we framed out a pocket below the TV for the center speakers. Due to the thin 55" LED the center speaker disapears into the stone wall without taking up room on the mantel
